Operating Profit Increases, SPJM's Performance Continues to Surge

Makassar, July 28, 2025 - PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim (SPJM) Group as one of the subholdings of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) engaged in Marine, Equipment, Port Services, Docking and Shipyard recorded an increase in operating income of 16.87% Year on Year (YoY) in the first semester of 2025.

During the first semester of 2025, SPJM managed to record an operating profit exceeding the company's RKAP in the first semester, which was 159.09% of the 2025 RKAP. SPJM's operating profit as a group also increased by 18.78% YoY.

This increase was in line with the realization of ship traffic in the first semester of 2025, where ship traffic reached 166,264 calls. This number is an achievement of 104.87% of SPJM's RKAP target in the first semester of 2025.

In the marine stream, guiding services, SPJM Group achieved 106.59% of the company's RKAP for the first semester, which was 319,397 movements. For delay services, there was an increase of 11.35% YoY and exceeded the first semester RKAP by 111.44% with a service of 2.62 Billion GT-Hours. This achievement is in line with the increase and achievement of traffic targets in all SPJM Group working areas. Furthermore, there was also an increase in docking activities with a total of 21 units, up 10.54% YoY where several docking jobs could be completed within the targeted time.

The dredging service also recorded a positive performance. The dredging service managed to achieve a dredging volume of 541,209 M3, up 39.15% YoY, while the channel management reached 105.6% of the RKAP for the first semester, namely 13,817,403 tons, with an increase of 3.65% YoY.

Stream Equipment performance also showed positive performance. It was recorded that equipment availability reached 90.33% or exceeded the RKAP target of 106.28%, with a Mean Time Repair (MTR) of only 3.39 hours or an increase of 21.8% YoY, which means that the average time needed to repair equipment is faster. Meanwhile, Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) reached 126.79 hours, reaching 422.64% of the first semester RKAP target and up 13.12% YoY.

The port utility service stream also experienced an increase. Fuel distribution in the first semester of 2025 was 34,302 KL, up 19.57% YoY, Clean Water Supply of 1,397,341 Ton, up 16.7% YoY. Waste management also reached 83,995 kg. Electricity supply increased by 3.44% YoY with an achievement of 107.47% of the Company's RKAP, namely 104,336,470 KwH. And significantly, gas distribution increased by 4.01% YoY with a distribution of 7,766,304 MMBTU, reaching 189.13% of the company's first semester RKAP.
