Banyuwangi, July 17, 2025 - Pelindo's service activities continue to run normally despite the queue of vehicles at the Ketapang and Gilimanuk Port crossing lines. Various steps are taken to maintain the smooth flow of logistics in and out of the Tanjung Wangi Port area.
“We maximize the facilities we manage, including shifting some of the Roro ship debarkation vehicle flow at Tanjung Wangi through the Pusri access area,” explained General Manager of Pelindo Tanjung Wangi Port Branch, Eko Budyasmoro.
Eko added that to unravel the congested conditions at the Port, his party also added guard personnel to open loading lanes for trucks that will carry out the embarkation process from areas outside the port to accelerate the smooth flow of vehicles.
"In addition to adjusting access lanes for trucks in Roro ship activities, we also maximize the use of warehouses in Line 1 of the Port for smooth loading and unloading of fertilizers. This is a joint effort to ensure that Service Users are served and the smooth flow of logistics at Tanjung Wangi Port is maintained," Eko explained.
Pelindo Tanjung Wangi continues to coordinate with KSOP, ASDP, Police, Transportation Agency and related stakeholders to support the smooth flow of logistics.
It also provides consumption assistance in the form of free food to truck drivers whose trips are constrained.
