Becoming an Integrated and World Class Maritime Ecosystem Leader

Jakarta, July 4, 2025 - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo successfully held ASEAN Ports and Logistics 2025, an annual conference on port, shipping and transportation logistics in Southeast Asia. The activity, which was held during July 1-3, 2025, is expected to be a place to strengthen collaboration, exchange knowledge, and explore the potential for new cooperation amid the dynamics of the industry that continues to grow. On this occasion, Lollan Andy Sutomo Panjaitan, Secretary of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, Joko Noerhudha, President Director of PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik, and delegates consisting of logistics industry players, and international port associations from various countries in Southeast Asia were present.
 
Lollan Andy Sutomo Panjaitan, Secretary of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, in his speech expressed his appreciation for the organization of this event. "We all need to strengthen cross-border cooperation and share best practices so that ports in the Southeast Asian region can compete at the global level. Through this forum, we can jointly find solutions to the challenges facing the port and logistics industry today," said Lollan.
 
At least 35 speakers from the world's transportation and logistics business will analyze the latest global issues related to transportation and logistics. For two days, more than 300 executives from shipping companies, freight forwarders, cargo owners, stevedores, logistics, investors, economic observers, consultants, port, port equipment and information technology service providers attended this event. Joko Noerhudha, President Director of PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik, emphasized Pelindo's commitment to continue to transform and be open to collaboration with any party and explore new opportunities to jointly bring benefits to service users and society. "Pelindo is committed to becoming an integrated world-class maritime leader. We believe the Pelindo merger is an important milestone in accelerating the improvement of port and logistics services in Indonesia-making them faster and more efficient," said Joko. Prior to the conference's official opening on Wednesday (2/7), delegates and invited guests conducted site visits to the Indonesia Vehicle Terminal (IKT), New Priok Container Terminal One (NPCT1), and the Indonesia Maritime Museum at Tanjung Priok Port on Tuesday (1/7). "In this good opportunity, Pelindo would like to express its appreciation to all parties for their support for this activity. I hope this activity can help the parties involved to increase collaboration in the Southeast Asia region," Joko concluded.
